About This Notepad
This notepad saves your text to your browser's local storage a moment after every keystroke, and restores it automatically the next time you open this page in the same browser on the same device. There is no account, no sync, and no server: the note never leaves your device.
Local storage is private to this browser profile. That also means the note will not follow you to another browser, another computer, or a private/incognito window - and clearing your browser's site data deletes it. For anything important, use the Download button to save a regular .txt file to your computer.
Local storage typically holds around 5 MB per site, which is several million characters of plain text - far more than enough for notes, drafts, and to-do lists.
